Airport operations launch meeting, Cambridge 5th November 2008

The Distributed Information and Automation Laboratory hosted the launch meeting of the Airport Operations programme in the Pitt Building of the University of Cambridge on 5th November 2008. Delegates from member organisations attended and were addressed by Professor Duncan McFarlane, Alan Thorne and Andy Shaw.

The one day meeting identified programme priorities and shaped the initial work plan. Members committed to the support of the programme and discussed how it would be administered.

Getting involved

This project is led by the Distributed Information and Automation Laboratory (DIAL) at the University of Cambridge Institute for Manufacturing (IfM). Funding is provided by a consortium of sponsors. Those involved will have the opportunity to influence the direction of the research, take part in key technology trials and receive early access to its findings. We welcome contact from organisations interested in joining the consortium.
